Painter Carole Dekeijser learned graphic arts. At the beginning of her professional career, she was scientific designer at the UCL (Louvain University, Belgium). As scientific designer at the biology department of the ULB, she illustrated several scientific books.
After, she leaved the university with the aim of working with her husband as a commercial artist but still working with the Institute for Natural Sciences. She left the Institute in 1999 to devote herself exclusively to painting. Her paintings, all made in scrylics, depict universes reflecting.
